We are finally moved in to our new apartment in Grand Chute. This past weekend was hell. The worst moving experience, ever. We started on Saturday just moving little stuff and packing up the old place. Sunday was the major stuff, using Candee's Mom's Ford XLT, aka, the Beast. The weather, sucked. It was cold and pouring down rain. Moving in the rain absolutely sucks. It was not fun. Then we spent all day Monday cleaning the old place. I spent 6 hours on the kitchen alone. But finally, we are done. The old apartment in ghettoville is now a part of our past. We never have to go back there. Good riddance. We sure don't miss seeing police lights and hearing sirens every night. We don't miss the gangs and the scarry looking people. We don't miss the idiots cranking their music at 3AM. We don't miss the certain vehile that always backfired and sounded like a bomb going off at 3AM every morning. And we cetainly don't miss our old apartment manager! She was a...well, you know the word. Oh we also don't miss the nasty bugs that infested in our kitchen. We don't miss the paper thin walls. We don't miss hearing other families down the hall yelling and fighting with each other. We don't miss having to take our laundry to the laundromat every week! Oh, I could go on forever! The new apartment rocks. It feels more like a HOME here now. We feel like a real family now.

Other news. I am still looking for jobs, but things are looking hopeful for me. I had a meeting with a recruiter at TekSystems last week. She is very impressed with my skills and experience and is working hard to find me a full time position. I have a very good feeling about this. And it's funny. She noticed I'm working at Charter and told me she knows how much it sucks to work there. She's helped many former Charter employees get the hell out of there! Yay! At least I know I'm not crazy. It really does suck to work @ Charter. Oops, sorry Charter. Am I slandering you again? Gonna try to threaten to fire me? Give it your best shot. There's a thing called freedom of speech and I'm exercising my American rights.

Candice is doing well at Cost Cutters. She's now working at the Oshkosh Cost Cutters, the one off of 9th Ave, by Staples. She loves it. For the first time in her life she is saying "I really love my job. I don't dread waking up and going to work." I am so very happy for her. She's worked so hard for this. And she's a great stylist! If you need a haircut, come see her at the Oshkosh location!

Kimberlynn will be 7 months old on the 9th! It is amazing how fast the time goes. She's getting cuter by the second. She's 17 pounds now and 27 inches tall. She's tall. We still can't figure out where she gets that from. I'm not tall, Candee isn't tall. It's odd. Her teeth are starting to come in. So far she hasn't been too cranky. In fact she's a very happy baby. She has the cutest little giggle now. And within a week or two, she'll be crawling. She's very close right now. Time to baby-proof the house!

I want to sincerely thank those of you who helped us with the move this past weekend. We couldn't have done it without you. Mom & Dad Gumm, Mom & Dad Hadley. Caryssa, Colton, Caylee, Betty, Henry, Laura, THANK YOU. It really means a lot to us. We'll make it up to you!

Yeah it's been a while. The last update, before the site crashed, was the birth annoucement for our daughter, Kimberlynn. That was...five months ago! And wow has the time been going fast. There is something about having children that really does speed time up. Candice and I are just amazed that Kimbee is already five months old. She is growing up so fast!

The birth. Let me tell you, the whole ordeal was not fun. They finally decided to induce labor on the 7th but nothing was working. The baby just did not want to come out, even after breaking the water. It got to be late Saturday night, the 9th of July, and we were all so frustrated and asked if we could go ahead with a C-Section. All the hospital doctors and nurses agreed. So the prodecude went on. I was amazed how fast a C-Section goes. I was expecting some hour long process. But no, the baby was out in 10 minutes. And she was beautiful! We watched all those baby shows and the baby usually comes out all icky and gross, but Kimberlynn was very clean and cute from day 1. She weighed in at 9 pounds, 1 ounce. 

I am so proud to be a father. Candice loves being a Mommy. And Kimberlynn is getting so fun and cute now (as you all can see from her pictures -- http://kevcandee.ke.funpic.org/kimbee/pics/). Her first few months of life she had colic. That was not fun, but it passed. She's a very happy baby now. Very, very happy. She smiles all the time and only fusses if she's starving, tired, or sick. Otherwise she's a playful, happy baby. And she's very smart! She's at a 7 month level and lengthwise, is the size of a 9 month old. She can sit up! She started sitting up last week. She can grab things with her fingers. She's been eating babyfood, from a spoon, since she was about 3 1/2 months. We love her, can you tell?

Ok, besides our daughter, what else is new? Some things. Candice applied for the Cost Cutters Appreciceship program and got accepted. She has been employeed by Cost Cutters for about two weeks now and is currently in training to be a hair stylist, specializing in hair color treatment. She says she really likes it so far and is very excited. After she's all done and cutting hair, she will be making good money.  She has wanted this for so, so long. We are all happy for her! 

We are no longer moving to Fond Du Lac, but we are moving into a nicer apartment in Appleton. The one we're in now is in a bad area of town and we're sick of it. We'll be moving Feb 1st and cannot wait. The new apartment is very nice and has an awesome kitchen! 

I'm still working at Charter, and I hate it more and more as every day goes by. I won't bore you with all the details now. But I'm trying to find a new job. If you happen to see any good PC tech/IT jobs in the Fox Valley area, please let me know!
